Returning to the Performing Arts Center, Diaspora Drumming is a trio dedicated to studying, teaching, and performing percussion music of the African Diaspora. Members Ringo Brill, Tiffany Nicely, and Gabriel Gutierrez study with African masters in various styles, traveling to learn on the soil where the music was created. Diaspora Drumming is joined by Buffalo State’s 25-member West Afrcian Drumming Ensemble under the direction of Tiffany Nicely.
